Campaigns are the marketing AMP sends out on your behalf. There are three types: Email campaigns go to your subscriber list, Social campaigns post images to your connected social accounts, and Video campaigns post short-form video to them. AMP picks fresh product content for every campaign automatically, and you can review, adjust, or fully rewrite anything before it goes out.
The Campaigns & Lookbooks Section
Everything you send is managed from the Campaigns & Lookbooks section on your AMP Dashboard. The section is split into two panels:
Upcoming (left) — campaigns scheduled to send in the future, including ones generated by your recurring schedules. Each row is tagged with its channel, so you can see at a glance whether a campaign is Email, Social, or Video. Click Manage Schedules to set up or change a recurring schedule.
Recent / Templates / Lookbooks (right) — tabs for campaigns you've already sent, your saved templates, and your lookbooks. Click View All for your full campaign history.
Click + New in the top right to create a campaign or lookbook at any time.
The Three Campaign Types
Clicking + New opens the Create dialog, where you choose a format. Email, Social, and Video are campaigns; Lookbook is a shareable flipbook of product ideas rather than a scheduled send (see How to Create and Share a Lookbook).
Type | Where it goes | Products per campaign | Maximum per week |
Your AMP subscriber list | Up to 20 | 1 | |
Social | Your connected social accounts, as an image post | Up to 4 | 2 |
Video | Your connected social accounts, as a short-form video | Up to 4 | 2 |
You are not obliged to use all three. Run email only, social only, or any combination — each channel is set up and scheduled separately. Running all three at their weekly maximum works out to five campaigns a week, which is the cadence we recommend for staying visible without crowding your audience.
Social and Video require a connected social account. Until you've connected one that supports the campaign type, the Social Platforms list will be empty and the campaign can't be saved. See Connecting a Social Account below.
Choosing Your Items
All three campaign types use the same item picker. The editor opens on the Curate tab with a set of products already selected for you — no product you've featured in a previous campaign is reused. You can keep that set, steer it with keywords, or pick items yourself.
On the Curate tab:
Hover over any item card for three controls: Replace swaps in a different item, Block stops that item appearing in any future campaign, and Remove takes it out of this campaign only.
Type into Refine entire campaign with keywords and click Refresh Items to regenerate the whole set around those keywords.
Click the Shuffle items icon to reorder the items you already have.
Refresh Items replaces every item in the campaign. To add items without losing what you've already got, use the Find & Add tab instead.
To pick items yourself, click Find & Add:
Browse the category list on the left, or search by keyword or phrase at the top.
Click any result to add it. The card is marked In Cart and the item appears in the Campaign Items panel on the right.
Use Select All to add every result from a search, or Clear All to empty the panel and start again.
Click Done to return to the Curate tab.
To feature a product that isn't in the item library, click Create Custom Item. Give it a Title and a URL, then add pictures with Upload Images or Add from URL.
Email Campaigns
An email campaign sends a product email to your subscriber list.
From the AMP Dashboard, scroll to Campaigns & Lookbooks and click + New.
Choose Email. The campaign editor opens with items already selected.
Adjust your items on the Curate and Find & Add tabs.
Set the options in the panel on the right.
Click PREVIEW to see the email as recipients will, then CREATE to save it.
Email Options
To: — choose All Subscribers or a specific list. Manage Subscribers opens your lists (see Managing Subscribers in AMP). To send to one person or an ad-hoc group, see Custom Recipients.
Template — the email layout. There are three options.
Subject Line — Stock for a ready-made subject, AI Generated to have AMP write one from your items, or Custom to write your own (up to 280 characters).
Message Body — Stock, AI Generated, or Custom. Custom supports plain text or HTML using the toggle above the text box.
Send Date & Time — when the email goes out. The Pause toggle holds the campaign without deleting it.
The three Template options are:
List — individual items in a clean two-column grid.
Featured Product — one product front and center with a big image and a custom call to action (see Featured Product Email Template).
Blank — no items at all, for a fully custom email or a piece of written copy.
Next to any Stock or AI Generated subject line or message body are two small icons: one rotates to a different version, the other lets you edit the text directly. Rotating is the quickest way to get different wording without writing your own.
Social Campaigns
A social campaign posts your products as an image post to the social accounts you've connected. There's no subscriber list and no subject line — the post copy and the images are the whole campaign.
Click + New and choose Social.
Adjust your items — a social campaign carries up to four products.
Set the options in the panel on the right.
Click PREVIEW to see the post, then CREATE to schedule it.
Social Options
Body — the post copy. Stock uses ready-made wording, AI Generated writes copy from the items in the campaign, and Custom lets you write your own (up to 280 characters).
Include Link to Idea Generator — adds a short link to your Idea Generator site, so people who see the post can browse product ideas branded to your company.
Social Platforms — tick each connected account you want to post to. Ticking one reveals its image style: Random lets AMP choose, Collage combines the products into a single composed image, and Original posts the product photos as they are.
Hashtags — leave Include auto-generated ticked to have AMP add hashtags based on the items in the campaign when the campaign saves. Extra Hashtags (optional) adds up to 50 characters of your own. It doesn't have to be hashtags — a short blurb or call to action works just as well.
Post Date & Time — when the post goes live
PREVIEW shows the post as it will appear, including your logo, the body copy, the Idea Generator link, the auto-generated hashtags, and the product images.
Video Campaigns
A video campaign posts a short-form video of your products to your connected social accounts. AMP produces the video itself — you don't need to shoot, edit, or upload any footage. Each video ends with your logo.
Click + New and choose Video.
Adjust your items — a video campaign features up to four products.
Set the options in the panel on the right.
Click CREATE to schedule it.
Video Options
Body — the caption that goes out with the video. Stock, AI Generated, and Custom work exactly as they do for social, with the same 280-character limit on custom copy.
Social Platforms — tick each connected account you want the video posted to. Only accounts that accept video are listed, so a platform you've connected may not appear here. Ticking one shows the placement AMP will post to — Reels, for Facebook.
Hashtags — auto-generated hashtags plus up to 50 characters of your own.
Post Date & Time — when the video posts.
PREVIEW is greyed out on video campaigns. The video is rendered after you save rather than while you're editing, so there's nothing to preview yet. Until then the campaign sits in Upcoming, a Ready tag will appear when its ready (usually after 10-15 minutes). AMP also emails you the finished campaign before its ready to send, which is your chance to review or edit it before it goes out.
Connecting a Social Account
Social and video campaigns post to accounts you connect to AMP. To see which accounts are connected, scroll to the Customers section of your AMP Dashboard and look at the Social Platforms card. Connected accounts appear as chips with a green dot.
Click + Add Platform and follow the prompts to authorize an account. You'll be asked to sign in to that platform and grant AMP permission to post on your behalf — AMP never sees or stores your social passwords.
Not every platform supports every campaign type, and a campaign's Social Platforms list only shows the accounts that accept that type. X (Twitter) takes image posts but not video, so it appears on social campaigns and not on video ones. A video campaign needs at least one video-capable account — Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, or TikTok — connected before you have anywhere to post.
Automating Each Channel
Creating campaigns one at a time is useful for a specific promotion, but the point of AMP is that it runs without you. Recurring schedules do that, and each channel gets its own.
In the Campaigns & Lookbooks section, click Manage Schedules.
If a channel isn't scheduled yet, AMP offers to set it up for you — click Schedule Social and Video to create sensible schedules for both in one go.
To build one yourself, click the + icon and choose Email, Social, or Video.
A schedule sets a start date and time, how often it repeats, and which day or days it runs. Upcoming campaigns shows you the next few dates the schedule will produce, so you can check the cadence before saving. Items Per Campaign controls how many products each run includes, up to that channel's maximum.
Existing schedules are listed with their cadence, time, and next send, and can be edited, paused, resumed, or deleted from the same dialog. For the full detail on scheduling, see Manage Campaign Schedules.
AMP generates each scheduled campaign's content 24 hours before it sends and emails you a copy. Until then the campaign sits in Upcoming showing Generates on: and that date — that's normal, not a fault. See Managing Upcoming Campaigns.
Editing and Managing Campaigns
Every campaign in the Upcoming panel is tagged with its channel — Email, Social, or Video — and carries a row of controls. Which controls appear depends on the channel:
The pencil icon, on every campaign, reopens the editor with your current settings so you can change items, copy, or timing. Click SAVE CHANGES when you're done.
The eye icon previews the campaign. Email and social campaigns have it; video campaigns don't, because the video isn't rendered yet.
The envelope icon, on email campaigns only, sends a test email to yourself.
The trash icon, on every campaign, deletes it.
A campaign whose content has been generated shows a green Ready tag. One that hasn't shows Generates on: and the date instead — 24 hours before it sends. Both are normal; you can still edit either.
For campaigns you've already sent, switch to the Recent tab and use the analytics icon to see how a campaign performed (see Understanding AMP Analytics). If you want to reuse a campaign's settings later, click SAVE AS TEMPLATE before saving it — see Campaign Templates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to connect social accounts to send email campaigns?
Do I need to connect social accounts to send email campaigns?
No. Email campaigns work on their own and are available as soon as your account is set up. You only need to connect social accounts if you want to run social or video campaigns.
Why won't my Social or Video campaign save?
Why won't my Social or Video campaign save?
Both need at least one platform ticked under Social Platforms, and saving without one fails with a message asking you to select a social platform. If that section is empty, you have no connected account that supports this campaign type — X (Twitter) takes image posts but not video, so it won't appear on a video campaign at all. Connect a suitable account under Customers > Social Platforms and try again.
Can I run just one or two channels instead of all three?
Can I run just one or two channels instead of all three?
Yes. Set up schedules only for the channels you want. You can add or remove a channel at any time without affecting the others.
Can I preview a campaign before it goes out?
Can I preview a campaign before it goes out?
Email and social campaigns have a PREVIEW button in the editor. Video campaigns don't, because the video isn't rendered until 24 hours before it posts or within 10-15 minutes after editing — until then the campaign shows Generates on: and that date in Upcoming. AMP emails you the finished version once it's generated, so you can still review or edit it before it goes out.
AMP keeps changing my wording between campaigns. Can I stop that?
AMP keeps changing my wording between campaigns. Can I stop that?
Stock and AI Generated copy varies from campaign to campaign by design. To keep your wording consistent, choose Custom for the subject line and body, write the copy you want, and save the campaign as a template so future campaigns start from it.
Why does my logo look blurry in videos?
Why does my logo look blurry in videos?
This is almost always due to a low resolution logo uploaded to your Brand section. Review your logo on the Dashboard
Can I add a link or call to action to a social or video post?
Can I add a link or call to action to a social or video post?
Yes. The Extra Hashtags (optional) field takes up to 50 characters of anything you like, not just hashtags, so a short call to action fits. On social campaigns you can also tick Include Link to Idea Generator to add a short link to your branded product idea site.
