Understanding Your AMP Invoice and Charges

A breakdown of what appears on your AMP invoice, what drives each charge on Flex and Bundle plans, and how to resolve unexpected billing questions.

Your AMP invoice reflects the plan you're on and the activity in your account during the billing period. This article explains what each charge represents and what to do if something looks unexpected.

How Billing Works by Plan

AMP offers two plans — Flex and Bundle — and they bill very differently. Understanding which plan you're on is the first step to reading your invoice correctly.

AMP Flex

AMP Bundle

Billing model

Pay-as-you-go — billed for what you use

Flat rate — one predictable monthly or annual charge

When you're billed

End of your billing cycle (usage accrues throughout the month)

Upfront at the start of your billing cycle

What drives the charge

Subscriber list size (email) + campaigns sent (social/video)

Fixed — not affected by campaign volume or list size

Your billing cycle is determined by the date your trial subscription started.

What Drives Charges on AMP Flex

Flex is an à la carte model — your bill at the end of the month reflects the marketing activity that occurred during that cycle. The main cost drivers are:

  • Email campaigns — costs scale based on the size of your subscriber list at the time of send

  • Social image post campaigns — billed per campaign sent

  • Video campaigns — billed per campaign sent

If your Flex bill is higher than expected, it's usually because more campaigns ran than you anticipated, your subscriber list grew, or salesperson (child) accounts under your main account sent campaigns that were rolled up into your bill.

Charges from any salesperson accounts linked to your main account are consolidated into a single bill at the main account level.

What's Included on AMP Bundle

Bundle is a flat-rate plan — your invoice shows a single charge covering all of AMP's features for the billing period. Campaign volume and list size < 50000 do not affect your Bundle charge. You also get 2 sales rep accounts included, above that are an additional charge.

Reading Your Invoice

To view your invoice and billing history:

  1. Log in to the AMP Self-Service Portal.

  2. Navigate to your Profile at the top right and then choose Billing & Subscription.

  3. Select Go to Billing Portal to view your invoice history.

Each invoice shows the billing period it covers, the charges incurred, and the plan your account was on during that period.

What to Do If a Charge Looks Wrong

If you see a charge you don't recognize or an amount that doesn't match your expectations:

  1. Check which plan you were on during the billing period — Flex charges vary by usage, while Bundle charges a flat rate.

  2. If you're on Flex, review your campaign activity for the period to see what ran and to which lists.

  3. Check whether any salesperson accounts are linked to your main account — their activity rolls up into your bill.

  4. If something still doesn't add up, contact AMP support with your invoice and billing period and we'll walk through the charges with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my Flex bill different each month?

Flex charges are based on actual usage — how many campaigns ran and the size of the lists they were sent to. If your usage changes month to month (more campaigns, a larger list, or activity from linked salesperson accounts), your bill will reflect that.

I'm on Bundle — why did I receive a charge I didn't expect?

Bundle is billed upfront at the start of each billing cycle, so the timing of the charge can sometimes be surprising. If the amount itself doesn't match your plan rate, contact AMP support and we'll review your invoice with you.

How do I know which plan I'm currently on?

Log in to the AMP Self-Service Portal and click your profile at the top right. You will see a section titled Current Plan.

Can I get a breakdown of exactly what I was charged for?

Yes. Contact AMP support with your billing period and we can provide a detailed breakdown of the charges on your account.
